Since interesting things have happened and other things haven't happened yet that should have, I give you an Authorly Update.

Since  versaphile seemed to think my fic worthy of her spiffy new Doctor/Master archive... I give you Adalia at the Prydonian!

I've posted Loophole, Partners, Passing Notes, Untold Stories, and WHY THE MASTER PWNS EVERYTHING. Yes... a mix of crack!fic and angst!fic, a little heavier on the angst... a perfect microcosm of me as an author. :-)

While we're at it, let's make this official. There will be a sequel to Passing Notes, now with 100% more Jack! Just don't hold your breath, considering my recent update schedule. That one will come when the inspiration for the required multimedia strikes.

In other news... yes, I am in fact still working on the next part of Growing Pains. Just... slowly. Midterms next week, then Spring Break, and somewhere between now and then I will get that next part posted. But, on the bright side of things, I've been keeping mostly on top of keeping up with my flist!

And, as promised to nightrider101, I will have finished Growing Pains and also posted and finished the 'Meat' rewrite my plot bunnies have been chewing on by the end of Spring Break. ::nods::

And now, I return you to your regular flist.

I've noticed your increased activity on LJ. :) Good for you!

Congrats on posting to the new archive. versaphile did a great job making it user friendly.

hehehe End of Spring Break? I'm going to hold you to it! I'll be keeping up my end of the bargin as well.

Once caught up, I suppose it's easier to stay caught up than it is to let things go and wind up having to wade through 500 posts again. We'll see how long I last this time, what with midterms. Ick.

I can't imagine having the time to maintain an archive, myself. I think it's incredible!

Spring Break ends 3/23 I believe... we'll call that my deadline. :-)

I've got faith in you. :D Although you did miss one story I updated. :P Of course that could have been on purpose in which case ignore me completely!

Yes, maintaining an archive has to be a ton of work. My hat is off to anyone that manages to find the time.

Spring Break ends 3/23 I believe... we'll call that my deadline. :-)

YAY! More fic from you! And soon...very soon...excellent. *rubs hands together*

I'll be off the end of next week so hopefully the muses will cooperate. Even if they don't, I'm writing anyway.

Not in the last two weeks, surely? I thought I was doing well the last two weeks...

You show those muses who's boss, that's the spirit! :-)

You're doing great! Like I said, it's been great seeing you around the lists. :)

I updated January 31st so it was probably during one of your busy spells. Seriously, don't worry about it.

The muses will be cowering in fear once I'm done with them!

Just be careful that the plot bunnies don't procreate while you're busy with the muses.

It's a recipe for disaster.

Or lots of fic.

Or both. :-)

Easy access Adalia Fic.
*is off to go check if there's anything up there that I missed on teaspoon*

There aren't any new stories up, just reposts of fics I already have on Teaspoon that I figure fit the purpose of the new archive. But if you're looking for Doctor/Master fic, the Prydonian really is the place to go! versaphile's done a wonderful job over there. :-)

I know.
I can barely code my LJ posts, I can't imagine running an archive. Amazing.
And my internet messes up teaspoon, so it is highly probable I've missed some of your fic.
Was wondering, you're in grad school right? What do you study?
Mar. 9th, 2008 03:52 am (UTC)
I just can't imagine having the time to run an archive! I barely have the time to run my own life, let alone a fic archive in an active fandom. It's incredible.

I am, in fact, in grad school, despite every instinct to flee in terror from further higher education. (I never claimed to be intelligent.) I am currently working on an MS in Mathematics with a concentration in Education, sub-concentration in Algebra.

After triple majoring (Math, Music, Physics) this is a breezy walk in the park and I am, currently, quite liking it. :-)

You're good at maths?
I fail maths.
Any maths.
You're so lucky....
Numbers don't like me....
And I have no doubt you are smart enough for higher higher education.

I've always been good with mathematics, it just sort of runs in my family. But so does whatever it is that makes someone a history buff, and I'm rubbish with history. ::shrugs::

I've decided I actually like grad school. All the fun of college, less pressure, and now someone is paying me to do it instead of the other way around! :-)

Adalia Zandra

This is adaliazandra's fic journal, which she hadn't planned to use very often. That plan has since been defenestrated in favor of posting fic update notices and rambles about DW and TW.

If you note the spiffy paid-account layout, that's because nightrider101 is simply the most wonderful person ever! :-)

If I seem to have disappeared off the face of the Internet, it's because I probably did. I don't actually *like* suddenly ignoring my LJ friends and leaving my stories hanging, though, so odds are I'll be back eventually.
